Creamy Bacon Tagliatelle Recipe Ingredients: 1 tablespoon olive oil 6 slices of bacon 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion, chopped 5 garlic cloves, minced 2 teaspoons tomato paste 1/4 teaspoon mixed herbs 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes 1/2 teaspoon salt 270 ml double cream 1/2 cup pasta water 200 g tagliatelle pasta Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated (plus extra for serving) Instructions: Cook the Bacon: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain. Once cool, cut the bacon into small pieces.
